Welcome

It is 6:17pm eastern time on the east coast of the United States on the evening of April 12th, 2012.  Power goes out not just on the eastern seaboard, but across the entire North American continent.  The stories that follow are those of the individuals.  How their lives are affected.  Nobody knows how long the blackout will last, or if the power will ever return.
